Pool Maintenance & Cleanliness Update
At Plum Creek, we’re committed to maintaining high standards at our community pools to ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable experience for all residents. Our team has been working diligently to respond quickly to maintenance needs and to reinforce protocols that support the health and safety of everyone who uses these shared spaces.
Recent Pool Actions
- June 24, 2025 – Haupt Pool Update
Items — including chairs — were found in the Haupt Pool. In response, our pool technician applied a powdered form of chlorine to thoroughly sanitize the water. This treatment temporarily caused the water to appear cloudy for a day, but the pool remained safe and properly treated for swimming throughout the process. - June 26, 2025 – McNaughton Pool Temporary Closure
McNaughton Pool was closed for maintenance due to a reported hygiene incident involving a small child. Lifeguards followed established health and safety protocols by notifying pool management immediately. As a precaution, the pool was closed to allow for full sanitation. It is expected to reopen tomorrow, June 27, 2025. Please note: Haupt Pool remains open and available for resident use during this time.
How You Can Help Keep Our Pools Clean
To support our efforts and help keep our pools in great condition, we kindly ask that all residents follow these simple guidelines:
- Please do not throw pool furniture or any other items into the water. Misuse of pool furniture can damage equipment and disrupt pool sanitation.
- If you’re supervising young children, take them on regular restroom breaks. Preventing accidents helps us avoid pool closures and keeps the water safe for everyone.
Thank you for your cooperation and commitment to keeping our community spaces clean, safe, and welcoming. We appreciate your continued support!
