Dear Residents,
We want to provide an update on the steps your HOA office staff is taking to ensure that our community pools meet the high standards we all expect. We appreciate your feedback and want to assure you that we are actively addressing concerns and working closely with our vendors and service providers.
Current and Upcoming Actions:
- Sand Filter Change: The board has authorized replacing the sand in the pool filters at both pools. Once this has been completed, you can expect to see increased water clarity within 24-48 hours. The pools will remain open during this process, so there will be no interruption to your access. We will provide an update once the replacements arrive.
- Extended Pool Hours: One challenge we face is maintaining pool quality with the pools being open all day, every day. While this schedule was not recommended by our service provider, we are doing our best to manage the impact and maintain cleanliness.
- New Portable Vacuum: A new, more portable vacuum has been purchased to allow our pool supervisor to more efficiently clean both pools. This equipment should arrive soon and will help improve overall maintenance.
- Lifeguard Oversight: The director of the lifeguard team is on site today to investigate concerns regarding lifeguard performance. If it is determined that the current staff are not meeting expectations, they will be replaced. Additionally, an assistant has been hired to help ensure more frequent oversight in our area.
- Ongoing Monitoring: We receive snapshots and chemical test results from each pool visit. These are reviewed regularly, and aside from some general cloudiness, no major issues have been identified. We continue to share these reports with our service directors and act on any concerns.
- Recent Assessments: Today’s reports indicate that the Haupt pool is clean and in good condition. The McNaughton pool remains a bit cloudy, but additional clarifier has been added to improve water quality.
Our Commitment:
We want to emphasize that your HOA office staff is diligently working to address all pool-related concerns. Some solutions require time to take effect, and we are balancing these efforts with other important responsibilities, such as architectural requests, billing, and ongoing projects. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to maintain a safe and enjoyable pool environment for everyone.
Thank you for your continued support.
Sincerely,
Plum Creek HOA Office Staff
