Many new and exciting things are happening in Plum Creek, and here’s a brief overview of some of the accomplishments from October, as well as the projects we have coming up.

Completed:

  • Review of all pocket parks and necessary repairs/updates completed.
  • Replacement of sensor in Haupt women’s restroom.
  • Hellman roundabout landscaping lights replaced.
  • Special Board Meeting conducted where 2026 annual budget and sale of 2 parcels of land to the City of Kyle were discussed and approved on 10-15-25.
  • Pool season concluded 10-25-25.

In Progress/Upcoming

  • Final preparations for Hootenanny on the Hill.
  • Paws in the Pool event rescheduled for 10-2-25 due to storm the previous weekend.
  • Continued repairs and improvements to both pools, including preparation for offseason projects (sanding and repainting the buckets, coping repairs, legal signage review, etc.)
  • Continued fencing repairs.
  • Tree trimming in common areas to begin in late November.
  • Preparation for removal of any remaining neighborhood dead trees and tree stumps.
  • Fall plant installations for remaining monuments in master association and Peninsula.
  • Next steps on Haupt Playscape replacement following approvals at Q3 meeting. We hope to have this completed by the end of the year.
  • Waiting on arrival of parts for Decker swing installation. We hope to have this completed by mid-December.
  • Continued planning and research on inclusive swing set options for parks.
  • Coordinating with City of Kyle officials to provide more information to residents about upcoming City projects.
  • Bids gathered for 2026 pool maintenance.
  • Repairs to a panel of the Dog Park fence.
  • Board design reviews of Community Center grounds refurbishment.
  • Preparation for Q4 board meeting.
